ONE: I am the eldest child of both my parents (Dad fathered 10 children, Mom birthed 4)
TWO: I love to plan and host parties & events (I'm pretty damned good at it, too)
THREE: I used to be VERY judgmental of others; that is, until I found myself in the same situations I previously judged others about being in ('egg on my face')
FOUR: One of my biggest pet peeves is hearing the sounds of smacking and slurping when people drink, eat or chew gum.......ugh, I can't take it!
FIVE: I'm an 'old-fashioned' girl in the sense that I believe in the man being the Head of the Household. Although I'm a 'control freak' in other areas of my life, the man for me MUST be capable and secure enough within himself to respectfully take the lead in our relationship.
SIX: I am proud to be a Tarver (my family surname) and once vowed to keep that name until the day I die but, truth is, I look forward to the day I change it....to my husband's
SEVEN: I'm not as "nice" as people think I am...
EIGHT: The main reason I only have one child is because I feared the next one wouldn't be as 'good'
NINE: Now, I wish I had had at least one more child!
TEN: The two years I spent in the (corny, small, boring) town of Morrisville, NY at Morrisville State College were two of the best and most enlightening years of my life
ELEVEN: I don't believe I have ever whupped my daughter. She's been 'popped' and 'spanked' but never had a real ass-whuppin (like old-school Mamas gave out) from me. I'm sure some of you might say...
THAT'S her problem! She's not perfect, but I think she turned out just fine!
TWELVE: While watching TV or a movie in a theater, I have to eat or drink something (I know, you're not supposed to do thaaaaaaat but..........I can't help it)
THIRTEEN: I never realized how much of a difference losing just twenty-five pounds makes in body size/shape until I looked back on pictures of myself when I was heavier. I cannot believe I looked like that (I still have a long way to go to reach my weight-loss goal, which has more to do with size/shape than an actual number, but the difference in the way I look already is significant)!
FOURTEEN: I never get tired of eating chicken: fried, baked, roasted, sauced up, tossed up, barbecued, grilled....I LOVE CHICKEN!
FIFTEEN: I love doing 'just for fun' surveys
